As a consultant, Paul’s passion is helping multinational organizations become more productive by leveraging more gender-balanced talent. As an executive coach, he supports women leaders achieve the results they want. He is a Visiting Leadership Coach at IMD International and INSEAD. Previously, he held senior HR and Talent Management roles with SHELL, General Motors, and UBS.
He is the author of Leadership Strategies for Women: Lessons from Four Queens on Leadership and Career Development (Springer, Heidelberg 2014). His most recent article, The Traps That Keep Women from Reaching the Top and How to Avoid Them, won an Excellence Award. Paul holds a PhD in History from the Catholic University of Nijmegen (NL) and is a certified MRG, SHL, PDI, and Linkage International coach. He works in English, French, German and Dutch. He currently lives between Geneva and Rome but has also worked in the Netherlands, US, France and Germany. He is married to a successful senior civil servant and is the father of two children.
